Registration fees

All prices below are stated excluding VAT (taxes). 25% VAT will be added before payment.

The registration fee includes admission to the conference and exhibition, coffee and lunches. Please note that some of the events need pre-registration on the registration form.

The SIG workshop day is free of charge, but we need to have your registration in advance. Please note that the seats are limited to the symposia, and registrations are made at a first come – first served basis.

Swedish participants

Swedish participants can choose to pay either by credit card or by invoice.
Invoice to Swedish organizations will be sent as an electronical invoice (e-faktura) if possible.

Participants from outside Sweden

All payments must be made in SEK (Swedish krona)
Payment should be made by credit card or by bank transfer (invoice).

Invoice

When choosing ‘International bank transfer’ in the registration form, you will receive an invoice including bank transfer information (bank account number, IBAN, etc). The invoice is created manually, and will be sent as a pdf attachment by e-mail, usually a few days after registration.
The participant/payee is responsible for any bank charges/fees associated with the payment.
The invoice option is closed after 21 July, 2021, and from 22 July only credit card payment will be available.

Information about payment with credit card

We accept the following credit cards: VISA and Mastercard.

For your safety, our payment system is connected to the 3D Secure system for ensuring the security of payments made through the internet. Your card needs to be connected to Verified by Visa or Mastercard SecureCode. Your bank can inform you if your card is connected, and if not already, how it can be connected.

If you receive an error message when paying with your card, please check with your bank to see if they have a block on overseas payments, a block on internet payments, and/or a limit on the amount that can be charged in one day. These are common reasons why a payment initially does not go through.

Please note that 25% VAT is automatically added to your registration fee when paying by credit card.

According to Swedish and EU legislation, 25% Swedish VAT will be added to all registration fees.
This according to EU legislation and regulation for conferences and events (C-647/17, EU:C:2019:195, of 13 March 2019 and Article
53 of Council Directive 2006/112/EC of 28 November 2016) VAT is paid in the country where services are rendered, e.g. the country
in which the conference takes place.

Exception: Swedish participants from governmental public sector organizations (e.g., universities, governmental agencies): No VAT will be added. In this case, you must choose Invoice (Swedish billing address only) as the payment mode and provide the VAT number of your employer.

Cancellation

Cancellations must be made by e-mail to: sps2021@akademikonferens.se. Cancellations made by 2 July, 2021 at the latest will be refunded in full except for a cancellation fee of SEK 750. Cancellations made after 2 July will not be refunded. Cancellation of only separate activities or meals is non-refundable.

We are presently optimistic that we will be able to run this meeting as a physical conference in Stockholm. If this should not be possible due to restrictions (e. g. covid-19) all physical social activities will be cancelled. If the conference organizers cancel the dinner, the dinner cost will be refunded in full to all registered participants.

Change of delegate

If you are not able to participate, you are welcome to give your spot to a colleague. Please contact the conference secretariat to do so, preferably by e-mail.
